Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif, real name Katrina Turquotte is a British Indian actress and former model who appears in Indian films, mainly in the Hindi-language film industry, also known as Bollywood. She has also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films.

Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong to a Kashmiri father and English mother. Katrina, one of eight siblings, all girls, spent subsequent years in Hawaii, and then in London. She started her Bollywood career with 'Boom' and saw success with 'Sarkar'.Her flick 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' opposite Salman Khan, earned her an award. Her flick 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' opposite Salman Khan, earned her an award and 'Namastey London', 'Welcome' and 'Singh Is Kinng' opposite Akshay Kumar have made her a household favourite. She has since appeared in films like ‘New York’ for which she won her first Filmfare Award and ‘Rajneeti ‘ that emerged as her biggest commercial success so far. But due to her poor knowledge of Hindi, Kaif's voice was often dubbed by another actress. However, since New York she has used her own voice. She also won the Best Female Style Icon at IIFA Awards and was the most searched Indian celeb on Google.
